On January 31, 2024, President Chakwera launched the project for the improvement of main roads in the city of Lilongwe.
The President hailed Malawi and Japan’s strong bilateral relations and collaboration. Through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Japanese government is funding the three billion Japanese yen project.
